Car Inspector Peter.........Hot Shop at Arch

Anyone who recognises me or knows me from NYCTA subways knows I love my job, do my work to the best of my ability and take care of crew. Hard work is good work when I can go home and say to myself, 'I earned my pay today.' West Crew is amazing...what we do shames MTA crews...they could not compete with us or earn the standards compliance of Quality Assurance or independent auditors that we have. MTA subway shops have occasional audits...we're 24/7. A timer chewed me out for participating in the NYCTA Rodeo....he said it is how management figures out how long it takes to do a job...I made third place first time stupid!

I'll have to post new pics as I find them. West Crew is BEST CREW. MetroNorth M7s come in to us in bad shape and we turn them around so well....the only thing we cannot do is true the worn wheels because the equipment was mothballed for union reasons.....they lose big time....I'm the only qualified CI to do the work. I bide my time and very grateful for the overtime that I did not have in NYCTA....my time and place will come around eventually based upon my skills and knowledge. I can cut any position: Carbody/Undercar/Propulsion/downloads/programming/power systems/trolley out/special inspections/whatever....pay level remains the same but OT shames NYCTA.
